Survivors Unite provides dedicated, skilled, compassionate and flexible sexual abuse recovery support to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Scottish Borders through the provision of the Safe Oaks Project.

Support for Parents

Perinatal Mental Health Borders has, for over a decade, been providing evidence based therapy for those affected by the birth of a child and early parenthood. Support is available from PMH Borders for all parents living in the Scottish Borders.

Neurodivergent Community

AVATAR (Autistic Voices Advocating Together for Autonomous Rights) is a charity run by and for autistic adults in the Scottish Borders, dedicated to empowering autistic people and improving their quality of life.

Autism Initiatives Number 6 provides free social opportunities and 1-1 advice and support on a range of issues (for residents of Edinburgh, Lothian and Scottish Borders)

Borders Additional Needs Group (B.A.N.G.) provides inclusive, rights-based support to children, young people, and their families across the Scottish Borders. 

Meeting of Minds is a parent-led support group, supporting local families raising children with complex or additional support needs in the Scottish Borders.
